Warranty terms are shown on every product page

Warranty coverage varies by product and brand, so rather than quote a single blanket figure here, the exact warranty period for each item — where one applies — is listed in the "Specifications" and "Returns & Warranty" sections of that product's own page. Please check the specific product you're buying for its warranty term before you order.

Manufacturer warranty vs. our returns guarantee

These are two different things:

• Our 7-day faulty-item guarantee covers any fault or damage found in the first week after delivery, regardless of the product's stated warranty length.
• A product's manufacturer or supplier warranty (e.g. "2 years manufacturer warranty", where stated on the product page) covers defects that arise over the full stated period, beyond that first week.

How to make a warranty claim

If a product develops a fault within its stated warranty period, email us at sales@novamarts.co.za with your order number, a description of the fault, and photos or video where relevant. We will confirm the next step with you directly — depending on the product and manufacturer, this may mean we handle the repair or replacement ourselves, or coordinate the claim with the manufacturer or their authorised service provider on your behalf. We will keep you updated by email throughout.

What warranty typically doesn't cover

As is standard for manufacturer warranties generally, warranty cover typically excludes accidental damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repairs or modifications, normal wear and tear, and cosmetic damage that doesn't affect function. Exact exclusions depend on the specific manufacturer's terms for that product.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under South Africa's Consumer Protection Act. Where a product is defective, our 7-day guarantee and any stated manufacturer warranty apply in addition to — not instead of — those statutory rights.
